BBQ pizza FTW! You can choose any style of pizza to grill, but you have to be careful about the thickness of your dough. Obviously, though, pineapple/BBQ sauce/garlic/mushroom is the best and most appropriate combo.

Love the t-shirt, but I love the company even more! It’s nice to see more companies that build their business plan around being philanthropic rather than adding it as an after thought. It’s our responsibility to do Good!

Great to learn about the good work of Social Imprints at SX! Great mission, great products!

My fav BBQ dish is pulled pork – done overnight in the crock pot – with or without sauce..All you need is a pork butt (you can use shoulder too, but it’s not as good), onion and coke or ginger ale (need sugar soda)…slow cook overnight, pull and drain and let simmer with seasoning, sauce or both – great for sandwiches, plain or on a salad!

My all time favorite dish is Country Style Ribs. I love how they are just solid meaty goodness with just the right amount of seasoning. Frankly, I know why people bother with “regular” ribs. The bone is NOT made of meat and it’s like, 40% of the rib… boooo! … and they can be so messy eat.

They are hard to find, but if you find a BBQ spot that makes them, make it your favorite!

  29. Posted March 28, 2013 at 7:15 am | Permalink

I love me some good ole Texas country BBQ, especially stuff like jalapeno and cheese sausage! yum!

    Posted March 28, 2013 at 7:25 am | Permalink

Best BBQ side is a chorizo and tortilla chip stuffing made with roasted red pepper, cumin and cilantro. I can’t get more specific because I don’t measure my ingredients, and I use what’s nearby/fresh/in season.

Loved your booth, your reps, your products, your mission and the BBQ print I framed. Would love a shirt to go with it, but not hopeful at this point! (and yes, BBQ are my initials!)

    Pulled Pork or Chicken!

  45. Posted March 28, 2013 at 7:56 am | Permalink

What’s my favorite BBQ dish? That’s a trick question. You can make everything taste good on a BBQ, especially with the right sauce. (Some might call this ‘secret sauce’). If I have to choose, I’d go with BBQ pizza, dipped in extra BBQ sauce FTW. Leave your Sriracha out of this…

    • Posted March 28, 2013 at 8:02 am | Permalink

BTW… You definitely set a new standard for SXSW swag. Grandpa Kev rocked the posters. You have a space in my heart (and on my wall). Hope to see you in Austin again next year!
